Student Leadership

At Bowen Road Primary School, students from Prep to Year 6 are encouraged to take on leadership roles throughout the year.

Class Captains
Each Term, Prep–4 classes select two Class Captains, these change each term.

Student Representative Council (SRC)
Each Year 3–6 class elects two SRC members in Term 1 and Term 3. The SRC meets weekly to plan fundraising and whole‑school events.

House Leaders
Four Year 6 students from each house—Bowen (Blue), Tasman (Red) and Collins (Yellow)—are elected annually by students in Years 3–6.

Daily PE Leaders
Year 5–6 students can nominate to lead Daily PE sessions. Training is provided by the PE teacher at the end of Term 4 and start of Term 1.

All leadership roles require students to sign a contract committing to our school Values and the BR Way.
